Sort your find by owner before you sort it by price
Three choices, and every field that applies to your item comes back with an owner on it: the seller, you, or nobody yet. Every rule behind this comes from a KameyMall page, and each one names the moment the field stops being changeable.
Check a find, field by field
Nothing here scores your item and nothing recommends anything. It answers one question per field: who decides this, and when does it go firm. The full list for all three groups is printed further down the page as well, so it still works with JavaScript off.

Every field, grouped by owner
The same data the checker uses, laid out in full. Each block names the field as it appears in the interface, what it means, and the one thing you can do about it.
The seller decides
On a card it is the seller's own Chinese title. KameyMall does not rename it, so two cards that look identical can be two different listings.
What you can do. Open Link Direct to read the original listing page instead of guessing from the card.
The price on a card is the price at the moment it was last read. KameyMall put a Get the latest price link on the product page precisely because Chinese shopping festivals move prices.
What you can do. Press Get the latest price before you order, and read the line at the bottom of the order page about paying a balance later.
The size list belongs to the seller. Official screenshots show the label and the values in Chinese, while the official tutorial says colours and sizes are translated for you. Both readings come from KameyMall, so check the page in front of you.
What you can do. Measure yourself first. Chinese clothing tags read like 160/68A: height, then bust or waist, then a body-type letter.
Sellers often push advice into the option name itself. One official screenshot carries 粉色【建议拍大一码】, which is a colour called pink with the seller suggesting you order one size up.
What you can do. Read the whole option string, not just the colour word.
What the seller charges to move the item inside China. It sits in its own box on the product page and is not part of the item price.
What you can do. Treat it as a second price. A cheap item with heavy domestic freight is not a cheap item.
KameyMall states plainly that whether a return or exchange goes through depends on whether the seller agrees. The order status wording matches: items go back "upon the seller's consent".
What you can do. Decide before ordering, not after. The free window is 120 hours from Stored.
Official guidance suggests picking a store with more than three hearts and a paid Taobao guarantee, and warns that low-credit sellers bring false dispatch, no dispatch, no after-sales and no recourse, at your own loss.
What you can do. Use Link Direct to look at the store before you hand over the link.
You decide
Compulsory on the order page. KameyMall checks deliverability against it.
What you can do. Set it before anything else. It changes what can legally travel.
Open the original packaging and photograph the item. Marked Free and ticked by default.
What you can do. Leave it on unless you have a reason. It is the only look you get before you pay international freight.
Weigh and store the item with its original packaging. Also Free and also ticked by default, which is worth noticing because it pulls in the opposite direction from opening the box.
What you can do. Pick which one matters more for this item and untick the other if needed.

What you can do. Only useful when the listing is time-limited.

What you can do. Matters when your 120-hour return clock is the thing you care about.
A 500-character box on the order page. KameyMall passes what you write to the merchant when buying. This is the only place where something that is not an option can still become part of the order.
What you can do. Write the measurement you need, not the outcome you hope for.
The product page has a box labelled Enter the Taobao discount price or another website's commodity price.
What you can do. Use it when you found the same listing cheaper elsewhere.
Once items are Stored you choose when to consolidate and ship. Official wording for the agent storage period is 90 days.
What you can do. Put the date in your calendar. After it runs out the official wording is that KameyMall has ownership.
The help centre says the purchase order waits 72 hours for payment.
What you can do. An unpaid order closes itself. Nothing is lost except the price you saw.
Nobody has decided yet
The product page states it outright: international freight is calculated and paid after the goods are stored, when you submit the package.
What you can do. Estimate before you buy. Official first-use guidance says the same.
Nothing on a card tells you the packed weight or box size. My Warehouse shows them after the item is weighed.
What you can do. For bulky-but-light things, assume the box decides the bill, not the scale.
View Inspection in My Warehouse shows photographs of the real item. They do not exist while you are still looking at a card.
What you can do. Plan to actually look at them inside the 120-hour window.
The order page says you may be required to pay the balance due after submitting the order, and the status machine has a state named for it.
What you can do. Keep a little headroom in the account you pay from.
Official disclaimers say electrical goods, brand and limited-brand items, tickets and cards cannot be professionally inspected: appearance and accessories only, no powering on. A separate clause says that when the real product link cannot be opened, size, model, colour and quantity cannot be checked at all.
What you can do. For those items, treat the photos as proof of arrival, not proof of function.
Official disclaimers name imitation brands, large volumes of liquid or powder and electrical products as things customs may restrict, and state that KameyMall is not responsible for customs clearance or the related legal responsibility.
What you can do. Read your own country's rules before you order, not after.
The one clause that explains most of the surprises
Buried in the official disclaimers is a line that quietly governs half of what can go wrong. If the real product link cannot be opened, KameyMall states it cannot check the size, model, colour or quantity, only the appearance, and that a mismatch is something to take up with the seller rather than a claim against KameyMall.
Read it next to the clause above it, which says no professional inspection is provided for quality, authenticity or completeness, and the shape of the service becomes clear. The inspection confirms that a right-looking thing arrived intact. It is not a verification service.
That is not a criticism. It is stated up front on a page anybody can read, and it is more honest than most marketing. It does mean the judgement stays with you, which is what the How to Pick Items page says outright: KameyMall cannot guarantee the quality of the goods, and you should judge for yourself.
Where the source platform changes the answer
The five filters on the search page are not just labels. They change which fields deserve your attention.
- Taobao. The widest range and the widest spread in seller quality. Official guidance suggests stores with more than three hearts and a paid Taobao guarantee, and warns that low-credit sellers bring false dispatch, no dispatch, no after-sales and no recourse, at your own loss.
- Tianmao and Jingdong. Brand-operated or first-party, so titles and option lists tend to be tidier. Prices still move.
- 1688. Wholesale-facing. Minimum quantities and per-piece pricing are the seller's rules, and they are exactly the sort of thing the 500-character box exists for.
- The fifth filter. Shown in Chinese on the official screenshot, it means KameyMall's own listings rather than an agent purchase from a third-party marketplace.
